How to use SailCall responsibly. Helps you decide on a day sail — not a chart plotter or navigation system.

Agreement
By accessing or using SailCall, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What SailCall is
SailCall helps you decide whether today suits a recreational day sail. It combines wind and marine forecasts into scores, go / caution / no-go verdicts, reasons, and suggestions. It is not a navigation system, chart plotter, or emergency service.
No guarantee
Forecasts and verdicts are based on automated models and third-party weather data. Conditions change, microclimates vary, and forecasts can be wrong. We do not guarantee that any trip will be safe, legal, or enjoyable. You are responsible for your own planning, gear, permits, and judgment.
Not for emergencies
Do not use SailCall for navigation, harbor pilotage, or life-safety decisions in storms, fog, or heavy seas. Follow local authorities, coast guard guidance, and official marine forecasts. Call emergency services when needed.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes
- Do not misrepresent SailCall verdicts as official coast guard or government guidance
Free service
SailCall is currently free to use. We may introduce optional paid features or affiliate links in the future; any changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
Intellectual property
The SailCall name, design, decision engine, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. Weather data is subject to the terms of WeatherAPI.com. You may share links to verdict pages; do not copy bulk data or resell our service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SailCall and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including trip cancellation, property damage, injury, or losses caused by inaccurate forecasts or recommendations.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of forecasts.
Changes
We may modify these terms or the service at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
